Last week, I had the pleasure of attending a little brunch party hosted by the lovely Alison Tsang of Wonderflower Press featuring jewelry craftings from the women of 31Bits. 31Bits is an organization that works closely with oppressed women in Uganda providing with a jobs and life counseling and mentorships. When they leave their five year program, they leave empowered, educated, and ready to thrive in their world.
What a beautiful organization! I absolutely love their vision–
“Using Fashion and Design to Empower Women to Rise Above Poverty”
Support them by hosting your own little house party or by buying their products through their website! I’ll vouch — they’re absolutely gorgeous pieces! So chic and trendy! I actually ended up picking up a good handful of pieces for myself and returned another time to pick up more for my friends :] Attention Brides!! Wouldn’t some of these statement pieces look absolutely lovely with a gown or perhaps worn by the bridesmaids?
Here are some shots of the display at our brunch.
I can’t wait to see what other amazing things the ladies behind 31Bits bring!
Cheers!

PS: If you are or know of an organization with a mission to use fashion for change, I’d love to chat with you! Chiarashine Photography participates and organizes several styled shoots a year and would love to feature your pieces!
Psst! I see you’ve traveled this far down the website… which means it’s probably time you signed up for my updates so you don’t miss out on ANY of the fun! P.S. I think spam is lame. Rest assured I won’t be sending you any of that.
I like your style very much. And have a Merry Christmas!
