It’s always an honor when a fellow photographer reaches out to you to photograph one of the most important days of their lives. Desiree of Delighted Images is a dear friend of mine, and I was over the moon when she trusted me to capture their story on her wedding day. Her wedding day was beautifully intimate, with just their two closest friends and her brother to stand as a witness. They broadcasted their wedding to their friends and family from all over the world on Periscope as a surprise!

Desiree and Jeff started their day at City Hall, where they promised to be each other’s forever witnessed by their closest and dearest. You could see the love and care J & D have for each other. One darling detail about their wedding day was that they had adorably decided to write vows to each other but in the other person’s voice! That meant that Desiree wrote Jeff’s vows to her, while Jeff wrote Desiree’s vows to him, in Desiree’s voice. What resulted was the most hilarious and heartfelt vow exchange I’ve ever had the honor of witnessing. We were all laughing and crying together the whole time through.

Following our time at San Francisco City Hall, we explored some of our favorite spots in San Francisco, capturing some memories of their first moments spent together as newlyweds, before finishing the day with a feast of San Francisco’s famous R&G Lounge. It was the perfect carefree wedding day, for the sweetest couple ever. Desiree and Jeff, we love you!
